I'm reading [The burning souls](https://zoboko.com/book/pjd8mrly/the-burning-souls) and wow.

>The money, the honors, the mess of bodies, the eagerness to seize an earthly happiness which leaks between the fingers and always escapes, has made of the human herd a pitiful horde, ruining itself, tearing itself apart to find a liberation which does not exist.

Respect to Leon Degrelle, however I disagree with him on an aspect of that quote.

Just because earthly happiness is fleeting does not make it a failure or mistake.

I believe God intended our lives to be emotional roller-coasters so we are gifted with opportunities to become spiritually mature.

All the human failures that Degrelle mentioned are aspects of the human condition and should not be mitigated.

I suspect Degrelle's view on life was compromised by the jwish subversion of German academia, government and media.
