The biggest priority for engineers is to figure out how to change the production process so Darquan hired off the street can't fuck it up. But guess what, they still fuck it up until they give up and buy a million dollar robot.

It's called "World Class" so any sub-retard IQ hand feeder can crank out minimum acceptable quality gizmo.

I'm conflicted on this one. I want Americans to have jobs, but I know that Big Business would rather go bankrupt than give up any margin of their hundred-million dollar salaries to pay us just a little more.

On the other hand, I certainly don't want Haji or Hakeem being brought here to do the jobs, but I know that if everything is automated that Big Business will (hopefully) stop importing low IQ shitskins.

In which case, I support full automation. *Right?*

It's just a fucked up situation all around, you know? All because greedy turds insist that their job is worth $100 million in salary and there's no way they'll do their "job" for $50 million so the other half can pay a decent wage to the workers actually doing the real work.

this is why we need a nationalist government with a protectionist domestic policy.

do not give businesses the choice of importing browns. do not give them the choice of off-shoring. if they want to sell into our economy, that is an earned privilege, not a God given right. We need federal policy to prioritize the health and strength of our nation and our people, not turn it into an international bazaar full of shitskins to be assraped by jews and other gypsy scammers.

Automation is pointless without constant consumption. If everyone were buying for quality and longevity, it would make sense for every item to be handcrafted (as much as possible) because the price difference between $15 and $150 is negligible over 30 years.

The personal solution is to not buy junk and keep your stuff in good repair for as long as possible.

I've heard engineering teams try to get Bill Gates Scholars moved to data entry or something as far away from decision-making as possible.

I worked for a hospital doing QA for their doctor-patient treatment portal.

Every employee under management besides the 2 old DBAs and the big fat lead developer who didn't have a college degree but was a prodigy hired right out of high school was poo.

Most of my day was correcting "english" which was completely incomprehensible. Occassionally Ireported bugs which returned incorrect data which could harm a patient because the H-1B devs couldn't write a proper join or union.

production engineering is a thankless job. everyone hates you. but as far as engineering goes (and having seen it first hand from all sides including production), production engineering/product line engineering is 80% of making a business work.

if you can't figure out how to make the thing efficiently and consistently, shut it all down. it's over. not to mention how many product improvement design changes happen after a product hits the production line. design engineering is essentially a nice dream, a hope, and a prayer.
