Read Isaiah and Revelation for the answer. Hint: We always win, we never will go extinct, but that doesn't give you a free pass to keep sinning and doing nothing. God expects you to act, and it is through those actions that He will guide you to do what needs to be done. And don't forget, we have free will. God wants what's best for us, but that doesn't mean we automatically get it. If we choose bad, bad stuff happens. God knows all paths, but let's us choose which one.
