Yes, but there’s no doubt that the proliferation of online gaming has made people less likely to meet face to face, and leave the house as often to do other things together. I’m bringing this up because the attainment of the NES was the catalyst of this discussion. At least up until 2001 or so, you would still go to your frens houses to hit up some splitscreen play in sports game, fighting games, and goldeneye, and mariokart. That was still some good face to face interaction, and a way different experience than just hoping online with a headset IMHO.

Not really, if anything its the boomers onward failing to have large families that have contributed to the socialization crisis. I was the only boy on my street growing up, and so I was a social outcast by default, because I never had any in group to be in.
