I can echo these sentiments. I remember being mind blown about being able to email experts in their field as a kid and getting meaningful responses back. Now the net is just a socially transmitted disease. As a naive kid I thought technology would fix our problems. Now I see what the people I thought were luddites were saying, it's created so many more problems. But then it's there to be your saviour like 'with just a little more ittl work out, we're almost there, in for a penny in for a pound'

Two more weeks bro

It doesn't *have* to cause any problems though. Technology and this are not mutually inclusive.

It's because of jews.

Yes, but there’s no doubt that the proliferation of online gaming has made people less likely to meet face to face, and leave the house as often to do other things together. I’m bringing this up because the attainment of the NES was the catalyst of this discussion. At least up until 2001 or so, you would still go to your frens houses to hit up some splitscreen play in sports game, fighting games, and goldeneye, and mariokart. That was still some good face to face interaction, and a way different experience than just hoping online with a headset IMHO.

Not really, if anything its the boomers onward failing to have large families that have contributed to the socialization crisis. I was the only boy on my street growing up, and so I was a social outcast by default, because I never had any in group to be in.

The Luddites were concerned about advances in technology leaving people without jobs. They were smeared by their opposition as "lol, scared of machines".
As we're seeing today: Much like Uncle Ted, they were right then, and they're right now.

In only a handful of generations no one knows how anything works anymore. The push the button but the underlying mechanism are obscured.

I think it’s feminism more than anything else. No one would really care all that much if people were having families and raising kids. You wouldn’t really have the time or inclination to go on TikTok or anything. Wages would be livable again for most people. We could afford homes. No one would have voted for mass migration. Porn would still be relatively taboo, not a fall back career option for women. Tech would mostly be used for useful things. Net would be closer to what it was, relatively unconcerned too outside of CP and such.

It’s technology in the sense that tech allowed that to happen and got in the way of it, but I think we could still be teching it out if the family unit hadn’t been destroyed and women hadn’t been set down a dark path of SSRIs and adult day care jobs and breaking up families and OnlyFans.

For all the good, I think from where we stand we can’t at least conclude it’s not *worth* it

and let's stop trying to do it in israel's backyard, the US. we can all see how much trouble that brings vs. how relatively simple Orania has had it.

Another example of everything going to shit after 09/11. That also happens to be around the time going to friends houses to play games together like sports titles with multiple people, and/or splitscreen games like goldeneye, and mariokart died. This is when the face to face human interaction began to die IMHO. So many examples of such things going drastically down hill after 09/11.

Internet 2.0: instead of banning CP, let's just hang em high.

Everything went to shit once we started banning stuff. You can't have nice things and let bad people access them. You have to get rid of the bad apples.
