Who wants to be around a white guy who raps casually?
Women are more critical of physical features than men are. Women are not attracted to pale, sickly-looking men--even rich ones.
Women's romance books are targeted to older, married women. Most of them feature traditional stereotypes--damsel in distress, male heroine, etc. but that genre has its established writers. So, new writers try to create their own niches.
