Yes. The second one is absolutely correct and is how it is to be done.

The problem is ok we are generating revenue from tariffs, so we will immediately stop all other taxation in this country. No? A fuck no we are going to keep all the taxation in place and just steal all this extra money that is coming in.

That is the problem

Also the fact that you can't really put extra taxes on imports without fixing domestic production first. The way it is now Americans will have to deal with paying more for foreign goods that there simply is no domestic counterpart to. Tariffs are meant to protect domestic production, but they can't do that if there is no domestic production to protect.

It incentivizes domestic production. There's no reason to start it if you're out competed by a billion asians working for $3/day.

It has been hinted at, but I think it needs a few years to take shape.

What I don't like is: "I'm going to tariff you! JK, I just want you to buy more of our jewish owned products."

Basically lmao 😂. I am 100% for this entire country being funded on and by tariffs. Unfortunately this is just a jewish shit sandwich wrapped in indian food and we will never see anything of such
