The defeat of the jews does not equal their expulsion. I'm not questioning the Roman victory. It was not the custom of Romans to exile people from lands they conquered. Jews make up a lot of things to garner sympathy for themselves and present things in a way that gives them moral license to do whatever they want, regardless of the truth.

Maybe not from the entire province, and definitely (unfortunately) not from the entire empire, but it is a historical fact that they flattened every building in town except their own fort and then built a whole new Roman colony on the rubble.
It's the core of Palestine, which was definitely purged of everyone before being re-colonized. And this wasn't their first revolt against Rome, like in most eras they were a very detested people.
It's probably not possible to prove if they were purged from the whole province, but we can at least agree that they deserved to be. If you read accounts of the war, they basically invented non-state terrorism.
