In the Douay-Rheims, specifically in Ezechiel 38:2, God foretells that nation called Gog will encompass Israel and occupy it before being ultimately destroyed by God Himself. There is a footnote in the DRB that says Gog originally referred to the Turkics from Scythia and Tartary, and Khazars (who contribute a good portion of the modern jew's genes, according to some theory) are a Turkhic race from the Scytian/Tartarian region. It would certainly explain why the (((Scofield Translation))) is so eager to instead place Gog in the Russian region, at a time when the jews were preparing to seize power in Russia.

The bible says it is a fraud. The Shroud of Turin is one piece. The bible makes it clear it was more than one and that the piece around the head was separate. Interlinear Greek here in case someone wants to debate the translation of strips, which doesn't even matter in this case. The head piece alone shows the Shroud of Turn is a fraud.
