a nation IS it's people. definitionally. So I agree. It's not some random collection of laws and a piece of dirt. It is the people. Their history, their culture, their language, religion, customs, shared lives together.

change the people means changing the nation. in the USA we're becoming brown and retarded.

The USA has already lost its original national spirit. It may be revived in a new form, as often happens, but the nation that formed the USA back in 1776 is a fragmented minority in an ever browner land.
