I always felt that hosts who have an American flag in the background are Feds.

Whenever a government officer has a press conference, a flag and or government department seal has to be posted.

I'm guessing that the Feds watch most of the videos posted on YouTube. And there are hundreds if not thousands of different Fed agents posting stuff as well. They need some kind of symbol saying, "he's ok, he's one of us, ignore him."
