In the beginning there were hardly any bantu in South Africa. They only migrated down there for work and the prosperity brought by the Whites. Similar story but yes. Debasing the nations in pursuit of cheap labor has been the principal sin of Western civilization.

The Oera Linda book, whether you put stock in it or not, has good wisdom on this. We were instructed to either expell conquered peoples, or put them to death. Never enslave or exploit. If we had followed that rule we would be so much better off.

"Slavery is wrong because we are not meant to live with other races. We should expel or execute foreigners, not enslave or exploit them."

I like that. I'll use it next time someone brings up slavery.

To modern sensibilities it seems harsh, but history proves it to be correct. Keeping aside the black slave issue, look at North America versus South America. The Spanish enslaved and mixed with Amerindians. The Americans and Canadians displaced and/or killed the natives and largely kept homogenous. And which continent was more successful? At least until we abandoned that racial homogeneity. Even considering the blacks, more were sent to the Caribbean and Brazil than ever went to the US. It didn't turn them into empires, just mongrelized their population and lead to mediocrity.
