Revelation 2:9 King James Version
>9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
Yes. Please consider my request that you move from the King James version to something closer to the original text. The Catholic's Douay-Rheims Bible is based on the actual words in Aramaic, etc. The NASB is another. I prefer that we all stay away from King James, who was a very bad guy and interpreted the Bible in ways that will not help you.
Imo, Rev 2:9, 3:9, etc. are verses that are warning us about Satanists, and possibly even worse. The parable of "The Wheat and the Tares" could be interpreted, for example, to mean that there are humanoids that are not actually human!! Demons? Doppelgängers? I don't know. But certainly with "Jews" we have to contend with the Talmudic Jews, the Babylonian pagans who pretend to be Jews but instead worship Moloch/Molech, Ba'al, etc., Sabbateans, Jesuits who are Jews pretending to be Catholics, etc. However, there is another group that pretends to be Jews, and these are the Khazars (and this happened far after the Bible was written). They are a Turkmeni tribe and not in any way part of the original tribes of Israel. These folks are often categorized as "Ashkenazim" in modern parlance. The leadership of Ukraine, for example, are Khazars. Another nickname for these people is "The Name Stealers", as they sat in a strategic position on the Silk Road and murdered traders and took their names to complete trade transations both in the Eastward and Westward directions.
I am pretty sure you know _all of this_, as we have interacted before and I find you to be well reasoned and well educated. So I wrote this mostly for anyone else reading this thread.
Ashkenazim are a Turkmeni race often called the Khazars (simplifying)., They are converts to Judaism and are not a part of the original 13 tribes of Israel. They are not "real Jews" (I realize this term itself is somewhat humorous).
There is no possibility that this is the case with the Ashkenazim.
