Basically when you Pray to God and ask for righteousness and direction and perfection you surround yourself with good Holy Spirit
But many people have demons attached to them. It can manifest as addiction, depression, fatigue, loss of energy, sickness, poor health, bad fortune and bad omens, negative people finding you.
Most Christians don't even pray. There are ways you can pray away the bad demons or ask the good spirits to come chase off the bad spirits. I believe religion is to aid in doing this.
But satan tricks us into thinking it is chemical imbalance or other reasons we suffer insensible violence or people suffer other ailments.
When Jesus Christ healed people He was usually just casting out demons. People forget this.
