I’m not sure in what regards you mean. I’m going to guess you mean smaller dogs jumping over your lap to get to an open spot on the couch. I understand that may be annoying to some including you, but I’ve never had an issue with this, and don’t see the issue with it. With that said, while I haven’t had cats do that, they have jumped up on the back of the couch, and rubbed up against my head to get attention, crawled onto my shoulder, and then on to my lap, and when I didn’t let them, they started pushing up against me harder, and/or kneading my lap.

Every house other than maybe one that has at least one cat has had this issue on at least one piece of furniture since none of them believe in removing their claws because it’s cruel(I agree). I’m not talking trashy nasty owners, and houses either.

By useless(maybe my wording was harsh), I obviously mean using them for dual even quad purposes like you can with different dog breeds on top of just being a loving pet for entertainment, and laughs. As far as dog owners being “louder”, in general, I’d tend to agree with that. I’d also say they tend to be more outgoing, and lean more to the “right” by far than cat people. As far as dogs trying to lick your face after licking their balls, and anus, that’s super easy to avoid. Same goes for cats that try to lick you for affection, and attention after bathing their entire bodies with their tongue INCLUDING THEIR GENITALS after going to the bathroom at times.
