My mother is from Pittsburgh and I have never heard of this in my entire life. I just looked it up, it's a real thing

I guess maybe it just didn't catch on before she moved out of state (in the early 80s), or it is (or was) specific to a certain part of Pittsburgh itself. I've heard of almost everything else pittsburgh-food-related. Never heard of that one

Been a thing since I was a kid in the 80s. That and crockpot chip chop ham with BBQ sauce.
