If you want to zoom in to narrower ethnicity, they are a mix of p-Celtic and Anglo-Saxons ( Germanic ).
Normans are also a mix of p-Celtic and Norse ( also Germanic ).
The Romans ( White European Italic ) had a negligible genetic input on the English population.
But make no mistake, the anti-White evils who deny English people exist in order to genocide them, also deny that such a thing as the Irish, or the Welsh, have a right to exist.
The Welsh, being Celts, along with the Scottish and Irish, have less in common with the Anglo-Saxons than people living in the furthest reaches of Sweden and Norway at the time.
People say that we are White Europeans, but we have very little to do with the Celts, the Basque, the Latins, the Greeks, etc... If you find our DNA in their population it's probably because we raided their towns at one point in time. Europe has always been a mish-mash of various races and cultures and tribes. It was the furnace where we all forged each other into the superior people that we became.
