Rockwell was never accused of being a nigger-lover, while Lincoln had to deflect such accusations for his entire campaign. There's a quote out there where he declared that he had never been friends with a nigger.

Where there is smoke, there is fire. If Abraham didn't want to be accused of loving niggers, he probably shouldn't have killed 1.5 million whites on their behalf.

It's like those politicians who feel the need to get up on stage and declare that they do not molest children.

He didnt, he killed them because he thought keeping southern whites on the tax plantation was worth killing 1.5 million whites. The emancipation proclamation was an attempt to start a slave revolt and swell the union's numbers, but it failed pretty miserably.
