I hadn't considered it, but a lot and i mean A LOT of folks in my parish are Ukrainian and everyone i've talked with so far absolutely hates the Kiev regime and doesn't understand why the Ukraine is defending/fighting back instead of just letting the Russians occupy and roll around for a policing action. Like, many of them aren't even pro-Russian in the sense that they want their country to be subsumed into Greater Russia but they are absolutely fine with the Russians going in and doing what's necessary, that's what i'm gathering from talking to people. And that's not even coming from Eastern Ukrainians, one Western Ukrainian boy about his late teens or early 20s for instance absolutely hates the Kiev regime and they (the family) lived in Western Ukraine.
It's really awesome getting to know so many people and getting to learn about the perspective of people who were directly impacted by such a world event. Sure we've had "refugees" come in and i did talk to a few mid-easterners back in the days who were legit war displaced, at least according to them (Syrians) but this is different, this feels closer and more real. Like i'm actually living through a war and being actually impacted by it. It's almost like walking down the road and seeing a trek of wounded and bandaged people go the opposite way or something soppy like that, we've all seen the scenes of 1000-yard stare head-bandaged men coming back as new troops march to the front.
Anyways, i'm rambling and i hate that, God bless.
Ukraine Regime = Khazars
The Khazars have been sending the Slavs to go get blown up. This is a new form of genocide.
Many such cases in history, and not the first time slavs have to suffer like this. 66+ million* Russians and others killed by the Bolsheviks, for instance.
