These stories of escape are such bullshit. They never elaborate on how they escaped, why they were allowed to escape, only that it was a great near impossible feat.

The evil Nazis were losing territory fast and their hatred of jews was so great that they wouldn't retreat from their posts as camp guards. They fought to the last man. The last guard was about to throw the switch on the electrified floor when he was shot dead by an allied soldier.
