Yup. I won’t even call the police either. Toss your cellphone under a nearby car or in a nearby bush or something that way you have PD as to why you didn’t. That’ll hopefully give more time for your attacker to “fade”. It also keeps you from saying anything incriminating to the 911 operator under stress and by accident. Last but not least, unass the immediate area, and when asked why tell your attorney I thought there was more than one so I thought I was still in danger, and was still in faer for my life. Then they can’t try and hold the fact that you didn’t offer aid to the attacker as he was “fading” against you.

In general though, I’ll probably never have this issue because I ANAC, and NRAB as my hobby now.
