He said this at a time when the number of White people (Europeans, Americans, + Whites elsewhere) was about 3X to 4X of the number of niggers. I don't think he expected the nigger numbers to explode so much. Not saying his ideas were actually good. They were bad, but at his time, it wasn't as obvious as it is now.
Something else I need to add, because I haven't seen anybody mentioning this, ever, is that in the same book, Coudenhove-Kalergi advocated for the creation of a new nobility of the future, by destroying the old nobility using socialism and then creating a new one consisting of jews mixed with selected members of old nobility. And this is pretty much what happened (old WASP elites + jews in the US, degenerate lords + jews in the UK and something similar in mainland Europe)
