Of course it is. Almost all traffic laws are. They’ve literally made it where you can’t even have one drink with dinner, and drive home for some people. Meanwhile you have big distracting screens in cars now, smartphones are being used while people drive, and we have billboards like these below designed to take your attention off the road, and it’s all totally legal.

Edit: forgot to add, I’ve never been drunk in my life, have only had a total of maybe 5 drinks my whole life, and haven’t had any alcohol for at least 25 years.

Nope. Never had any interest, and I can’t stand drunks. They’re annoying as fuck. If someone has a drink or two around me at an event, that’s fine, but I have no interest in “loosening up”, and losing any control of my faculties at all, especially around others. I understand why people crave it though, because in small doses it is definitely a social lubricant that can dampen anxieties, and insecurities in many. The problem is it’s often not worth the comedown that I’ve seen people go through when they overdue it even just a bit. It always seems like an emotional roller coaster ride that I’m not willing to fuck with. I’d rather be even keel without any highs or lows if I had my way 100% of the time.
