Because "dating" doesn't mean dating anymore, does it? If means fucking. *Nobody* actually dates; that is has a series of meetings with a prospective mate to see if they're compatible. They just try to fuck, in this case with a teenager whose brain is literally in the process of melting and reforming.

Fuck this animator. He got cancelled by a "cyber" mob? Lol, what a bitch.

That is not always true. I have a virgin friend who dated a female for a little while, but they never fucked, hence why he is still a virgin.
