You guys have power tools, cordless battery tools, nails and screws easily available at hardware stores.
Your ancestors only had an axe and hand saws. Hammers and hand tools. They didn't even have nails unless they had access to a blacksmith, which is why old structures used lots of methods of tongue and groove and such.
Your ancestors build shit with their bare hands with only mules to help them move stuff or pull stuff.
It's really easy now with modern tools skid steers and trucks and hardware stores. So why are you moping because you can't buy an overpriced $500,000 shitty lowes home depot vinyl plastic pine box built by spics in a neighborhood with an HOA karen? Return to your roots. Start off with something small that you can accomplish like this. Then move up to building larger cabins once you've successfully built and completed smaller ones. Also it is easy to expand later.
