Because the US somehow always serves evil perhaps? Which didn't change for a century at least.
While Germany fought the Soviet threat with most of their troops, in hopes that the West would understand the importance of doing so, the Americans """heroically""" backstabbed Germany, so that the communists could conquer Eastern Europe, fuck it up, and then collapse anyway because it was shit all along.
