China's military is massive. It's a matter of prudence. The threat of force is more times than not far more powerful than the use of force itself. Only a fool wouldn't invest in a military.

Our government has profited immensely off the military. Keep in mind our government is ZOGed so you have to understand the interests of the government doesn't align with your own.

You need military for economic power. You need to be able to keep shipping lines open and potentially blockade others.

China has grown their military immensely and there is much speculation that they are significantly hiding their actual investment into military. China actually has a civil policy where civilian manufacturing plants for example must be built to military specs just in case there's a total war and China needs to shift their production output to military in the short-medium term. China is very conscientious about military might as they should be. They just want to stay under the radar as long as possible to avoid any preemptive assaults.

By the way, the threat to Ireland was likely economic also not militarily and I was suggesting China would use economic pressure to get outcomes they want also (they likely already have done so on numerous occasions).

India's Army is larger. The people who are worried about China are swayed by US propaganda. You should step way back from that and take in the larger picture view.

> India's Army is larger.

Flat out incorrect. Wrong.

China is more of a paper dragon than people realize, but you don't have to exaggerate to the point of lying.

> Flat out incorrect. Wrong.

We only have estimates because China does not release their numbers. You are using figures provided by a globalist think tank. Were you aware?

Second do you understand the distribution of these forces inside that estimate? Do you understand how they do and do not overlap with other more traditional measures of actual military size?

> but you don't have to exaggerate to the point of lying.

You've believed a lie for a very long time. Now the game is to see if you're going to be incredibly defensive about it or if you'll genuinely consider the points raised above.

A point you might consider here is how does China's army react when confronted by the Indian army? This should be revealing. Why isn't it more widely reported?

You have yet to refute anything. You just shat out a bunch of gobbledygook without actually saying anything useful, disproving my claim or bolstering your own.

Hard factual proof:

> You have yet to refute anything.

You have yet to prove anything. Again, you're working from estimates, prove the numbers you have are true and worth using.

So what did you do google for a bunch of articles that repeat your preconceived notions back to you? Did you even try to falsify your own ideas?

Here's a real report. Read it and understand it. If you can.

Pretty much what I figured. The mass media got inside your head and you literally cannot think your way out of it due to embarassment.

Again, you believe lies, this much is obvious, what's interesting is if you can overcome this or not. We'll try one more time then I'll let you be. You seem emotionally ill equipped to try beyond that.

Recognizing the usefulness of a military is hardly needing to step back. If you don't think a military is useful then you need to step back.

I have a military. It consists of my two dogs. I spend $10,000 a year on arming my military.

Are you afraid? Do you want to change your foreign policy because of this?

Pull your head out of your ass.
