Cyclists are the jews of the road. I have no problems with them on the sidewalk or in a city designed for cycles, but they seem entitled to be on *every* road for some reason.

Because we grew up in car hell and most of us don't realized how fucked it is, so when someone decides to use the road in a way that inconveniences our cars, which we are heavily reliant on, many of us get irrationally angry. And anyone who uses a bicycle is very likely to cause an inconvenience because we have practically zero bicycle infrastructure, so cyclists have no choice but to use the roads designed for cars.
Okay, that explains a lot but people could ride their bikes on the side of the road, yet whenever i see any video or pictures of American cyclists they are always in the middle of the road like everyone else rather than sticking to the white roadside marker. That's how we do it in Germany, if we have to share a road with cars we stick to the outside of the road and if we can, like on a country road, we move onto the green strip when cars pass.
Hm, oh well, different culture and different infrastructure. God bless, brother.
