i live in a village so a lot of people here produce things. goat milk, cheese, whatever... i make a point of buying that stuff when the opportunity comes just to buy it and support them, not necessarily because i super-want it.

once i bought some honey from the local handyman who has his own beehives, he said it was 8 dollars "in the city" and only 5 here in the village, for a big 750ml jar of pure fresh honey... told him to just give me the city price hahaha, still so damn little for what it is.
