There's just a few issues with the graph

One of them is that orthodoxy is missing one big schism, which was the schism between the ROC and the old believers, who completely split from communion with the eastern orthodox church and constitute their own branch of Christianity. They are to orthodoxy what protestantism is to catholicism, albeit much smaller in number.

It's also missing the oriental orthodox (not to be confused with eastern orthodox) schism from the chalcedonian church long before the east-west schism.

i looked it up but i couldn't find one comprehensive one, this is the best we got for now. wasn't aware that ROC is considered in schism, certainly doesn't feel like it when i attend liturgy.

It's in schism by technicality, but the church has more or less completely let the old believers go. They in turn don't bother the church. When the schism first happened though, there was a good deal of bloodshed and persecution that continued until the early 1900s, on both sides

Flip the graph around and the Romans make a contiguous line instead. Talk to a protestant and they'll add an extra line and say they have the oldest and longest tradition. I appreciate the effort, but this isn't the most helpful way to understand church history.

just consider it a visual aid more than anything. besides, we (i) know that Orthodoxy is true because we worship as the apostles did and there has been barely any, if any, innovation. actually, i can't think of any innovations. compare to the Latin rite and their papist Proto-Protestantism. the Latinists and Protestants are clearly in error, and considering that the western denoms are becoming rotten, bloated things far removed from the Gospel...something something house divided something something curses something something Faggots and Pedophiles allowed.

The Latins and Greeks split long before the schism.
