i like the ingredients, but would avoid the casserole. hot-as-fuck cast iron pan with bacon grease, cook up that chicken and broc, burner off and then cheese over the top

Did you like it enough to make it again?
One of my favorite things is just chicken thighs, salt, pepper and a little olive oil. Just pan fry the thighs for 10 minutes a side to get the skin real crispy and render out some fat, then throw it in the oven at 350 for a half hour or so. You can't overcook it somehow and chicken thighs are some of the cheapest cuts of meat I can find near me. You could probably oven roast broccoli or cauliflower at the same time and use the rendered fat on it and I'm sure it would turn out awesome.
