I have very little to add to this sadly, so this is more a post your knowledge post. I have heard a handful of different Jewish stories. Either they are the Caananites of the Bible, DNA shows this. They are Khazarians that adopted the religion to get into Europe. Some here say the Bible is all Jews and Jews being bad while others say the house of Israel were white, blue eye genetics from the Caucuses show this. I am wondering what the general concensus on this topic is around here.

Jews started existing when Esau race mixed with Canaanites, creating the Edomites. The Edomites are the original and today's jews. The khazarians/ashkenazi joined them around 700 AD. The Philistines are today's Palestenians. The Israelites/Hebrews, Jacob-Israel's descendants, all 12 tribes of Israel including Judah are today's White Europeans and Americans. "Judea" was a section of Israel for the tribe of Judah, the largest of the 12 tribes by far. So, King David and Jesus were White, not jewish. "Jew" is a modern mistranslation, as is gentile, that doesn't really exist. They are not "Judean" or of "Judah" or Jacob-Israel at all. A dog born in a stable is not a horse, a nigger born in Europe is not European, a jew born in Judea is not Judean. In 2 Samuel and 1 Kings, God commanded King David to mass genocide the Philistines (Palestenians) and Edomites (Jews) for Israel, only he disobeyed out of natural White man's compassion by sparing the women and children, which is they use matriarchy. He subjugated them into a subsection of southern Judea called Idumea and forced them to adopt our culture and practices. From there, they used usury to grow in power and status over the next few hundred years to become most of (but not all, like Paul) the pharisees and sadducees by Jesus's time. So yes, most of the pharisees were jewish which is why Jesus confronted them so many times. But Paul was not, he was of Benjamin.
