Women should never be in any positions of power. This includes operating any machinery that increases their ability to even possibly hurt themselves and/or others.

I know so many men/husbands that let women drive them around. Weird flex of how much you value your life, but who am I to judge? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Part of the problem in many arenas, is the barrier to entry is incredibly low now to participating in such things like driving. The cars basically drive themselves now, and many still can’t seem to avoid fucking shit up. I still enjoy a manual transmission with heel toeing, and all that jazz, and I can make the shifts feel pretty damn smooth if I’m paying attention. The car I speak of is one of the last years before cars became a complete computer on wheels. It makes you a better driver because you must be engaged, and paying more attention to what you’re doing. People today don’t even know how to use their mirrors, and have no spacial awareness of their own vehicles. It’s pretty fucking awful.

I have a fren that is asking what year that is, so he knows what year to get for his next vehicle project.

The consensus among me and my crew is that 2012 is the last year to get what many would still consider a “drivers car” where you can still turn off many of the nanny assist. Now there are more assist than ever, and you can’t even turn them off completely. I’m talking things like traction control, and rev matching. I will admit though, I know someone who was able to get the last year model of the C7 z06 for a smoking deal with very low mileage, and it’s a fucking blast. With that said, I’d be scared to drive it if it was mine because I think it’s going to be one of those vehicles that is worth a shit ton one day. I don’t even consider that abomination they call the C8 to be a corvette ugly ass shit box full of computers, and no manny tranny.
