Troonism is from "Judaism", and theyve been shape-shifting long before they called themselves jews. They actually tried to skinsuit Christianity in its inception, but they cant take over a live host that fights back. They were only able to assume the jewish identity because the actual Jews were presumably all but dead (or converted to Christianity) and there was no opposition to them doing so. Since the internet didnt exist at the time and the fastest news could travel was as fast as the swiftest horseman, very few were able to realize their identity might not have been what it seemed. That and most people were more concerned with farming than tracking down the weird schnoz people they had just recently driven out of town for poisoning the wells.
