I live in a town that was once heavily controlled by the Mob. They exist but it's not like the Godfather or anything. It was more like a business association or something; they did a ton to keep the streets clean of petty criminals and even did some stuff to beautify the city, especially the churches.

The bikers largely took over around 2000 and they're just thugs.
