Oh, his fan base started dropping off well before that, closer to about 2012, and it was entirely because he ridiculed donors who didn't give more than a buck or two. This clip was posted in 2014, but the event that made him record it happened a couple of years prior.

He may have lingered until as late as 2017, but he was barely hanging on by that point because people had realized the guy was nothing but hot air.

I agree with you on his "convincing people to hate their parents", a process he called de-FOOing, that is removing those people who are one's family of origin (FOO) who one deems toxic. I have a son who did that to me. Both my son and Molyneux are horrible narcissists for their self-righteous judgment of other people.
