This is exactly how "controlled opposition" works: present people with two options (red and blue), make them seem superficially different but, behind the scenes, they get the exact same results ie lower deportations under Trump than Biden, despite the rhetoric.
There is another option: you. Get your shit together, clan up, get educated, and start building power bases.
I'd argue that the Jews locked in control after Kennedy but they'd been working on it for generations, *after* building an old boys network that worked to benefit it's members and shield them from the law.
