> On September 19, 2010, while clearing a path for United States Army Rangers in Kandahar, Mast stepped on an IED along the road. The explosion resulted in the amputation of both his legs and losing his left index finger. Mast received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his actions.

Total faggot. There isn't a banker's war this faggot won't enlist for. Total absolute faggot.

How does he serve in two national armies?

Also, I imagine that this was a John McCain moment where he totally fucked up and got a medal for it. The rest of his squad doing the real work probably just rolled their eyes.

READ: [GOP reps want same benefits for Americans serving in Israel army](https://responsiblestatecraft.org/americans-serving-in-israeli-army/)

> "As the only member to serve with both the United States Army and the Israel Defense Forces, I will always stand with Israel,” Mast wrote in a post on X, alongside several photos of him wearing the uniform.

> Two Republican congressmen have introduced legislation that would extend the same employment protections to Americans serving in the Israeli army as Americans who leave work and home to serve the U.S. military. In other words, no different than U.S. National Guardsman or Reservists, they are just fighting for another country.

> H.R.8445 -- “The service of a citizen of the United States in the Israeli Defense Forces shall be treated in the same manner as service in the uniformed services.” The bill introduced to the House of Representatives by Republicans Max Miller and Guy Reschenthaler. That bill calls for amendments, opens new tab to programs for U.S. military service members and veterans that would allow American citizens serving in the Israeli military to gain eligibility for benefits and protections similar to those who serve in the U.S. military.
