Exactly. This has always been my thought process. Even if you just absolutely have to “get off”, there are other options to explore with each other where you don’t have to worry about pregnancy. I’m an extreme outlier though according to some here, and definitely everyone I know, because almost everyone I know thinks it’s acceptable to have intercourse with someone you’ve only known a few weeks.

When my wife and I were engaged we "accidentally" got pregnant. There was no shock, there was no horror, there was no spontaneous change in our relationship *because we were already planning to have kids.* Forethought is like a superpower these days!
Yeah, neither of my kids were really "planned"; we just knew we were in a decent financial position so we relaxed our precautions (I never really used condoms or her birth control, just super on top of my pull out game).
My policy, and what I tell me kids, is:
Never stick it in someone you don't want to work with for the next 20 years.
What really gets me is grown-ass adults in committed relationships (married or dating for years on end) who still use birth control because kids are oh-so-scary apparently. Imagine being such a cuck faggot that you wear a condom for your wife, holy shit.
Our method was just to not have sex during that time of the month--it worked until I was working so much I forgot what week it was lol
