People treat the health system like they used to go to church. Instead of praying they go to the doctor for the exact same reason, wishing that something wrong in their bodies or mood is fixed by the vast array of pills provided by soyence™.

I'm neither talking down religion or medicine.

I can almost point my finger to the year when people started believing in medicine. I think it was right after WWII.

Modern medicine is no different than witch doctors. I have yet to see any solid evidence that it isn't.

I have been way healthier having sworn off doctors and medications than I ever have been. Doctors couldn't even figure out my acne years ago.
