This is a consistent theme with women working around criminals. Women working in prisons do this with prisoners. This is most likely because women working around dangerous men will fall for them. This happens consistently in the US with women in similar positions, and it doesn't have to be grooming gang members, just any sort of criminal.

You're absolutely correct. I totally forgot about those cases; Vicky White and Joyce Mitchell are the most well-known. Women are absolutely vulnerable around the "bad boys." We can feel however we want about it, but they drop their panties for dangerous men.
