How are these even made? Do you write scenes basically like everything you'd like to see and the AI makes it?

Pretty much. The first step is creating a character. Once you like the character, you have to tell the AI to save that character so you can use them in multiple scenes. It's a bit of work but, as you can, worth it. Ultimately, however, it's all based on text prompts.
