I think that's something we need to communicate to Gen Z more frequently. All of these Con Inc. "commentators" talking to guests and broadcasting in 4K on slick sets are paid shills. They're selling you a product: an ideology, a set of ideas, that very often are not in our best interest. They're not "journalists," they're salesmen.

YouTube and ad reads pay a few shekels, but not enough to pay the rent. These guys are getting paid, which is another way of saying they're doing a job for someone. Who are those people and what do they get in return for their money? It's all a grift. It's all a business, and the minds of the audience is the product that's being bought.

When you're young, it's easy to think "it's just a guy with a show and *his* ideas." Yeah, that's not how it works, Boo Boo.
