One of the few books worth absorbing into your psyche. I read 5 pages/day out of it - part of my morning getup, along with the Bible.

I tried to read that book for ten years. It’s more about 120 year old Russian political theory than it is prison camp stories. I must have switched to another book 30 times while trying to plow through that one. Maybe I should get it as an audiobook and listen as I mow. It’s literary Valium if you try to read it lying down.
