No, the general belief people have that the US military 'lost' Vietnam. US *politicians* lost Vietnam, it wasn't for lack of desire or technology on behalf of the military.

Forcing them to watch planes retreat across the border and being told they can't pursue them, fucking comical how that gay shit played out.

Yep I agree fully. It's interesting how the only wars Western countries ever go "all in" for are when it's Whites fighting Whites. Compare WW2, the Falkans and Ukraine to any other war fought in the past century.

TBH I doubt really any major empire at any point in history would *really* be able to argue they were much better. Rome was one of the worst offenders when it came to reliance on external military and monetary issues. Even the Revolutionary War owes a decent part of the victory to France.
