They started out alright, as the devil would have to lure you in, but then roofie kicked in hard.
Here's the issue, though: Disney has *nothing* else to offer. They bought Marvel and Star Wars because Mickey Mouse was past its prime. It just wasn't culturally relevant anymore and they were phasing out traditional animation. So what's next? Disney had *nothing* in their lineup.
They *had* to buy Marvel. They *had* to buy Star Wars. Of course, they quickly killed the "golden goose" with their bullshit ideology. So now what? If they put Marvel and Star Wars on a break, what content are they making in the meantime? Yeah, they're fucked. They don't have any other choice *but* to make superhero crap. They're going to have to reboot *everything* in a pro-White way, but I don't see them doing that willingly.
Seriously, the whole superhero genre is more dead than the zombie genre before it. *Time to move on already!*
