Exactly true. Also, I believe these are year long sub prices for services that have monthly rates, which might make sense for watching every single game, but even considering that, I bet you could get away with a fraction of the costs shown. Also not mentioned: what % of nfl viewers simply watch paywalled games for free online with essentially zero effort since that is so easy to do, anyway?

yeah, some do. some get deep into it. they pick up a case of beer on their way home from work, and a tallboy or 2 to drink on the drive there. then they sit their fat ass down and watch sports all evening, then ESPN summaries and commentary. they quite literally live off of beer, sports, and a single-meal lunch w/ bag-snacks while they watch the game. I've seen it. I've been to their houses and met their demoralized, nihilistic wives.
