If they were Edomites, they'd still be mostly Hebrew (though Esau was a race mixer), I think many of them are majority Canaanite, since they practice and promote the same degeneracy that the Canaanites themselves did. Israel did fall into Canaanite Idolatry some of the time, but I doubt they ever were *spreaders* of it.

Esau race mixed with the the canaanites to create the edomites who are today's jews. Ashkenazi/khazarians joined them around 700 AD. King David was commanded by God to genocide them all but he disobeyed by only putting the men to the sword and sparing the women and children out of White man's natural compassion, which is why they use matriarchy and we have to suffer them today. They were subjugated to a subsection of Judea called Idumea, and forced to adopt our God and practices, which they pretended to, and as such were slowly integrated into our society over the next few hundred years. From there, they used usury to grow in power and status to become most of (but not all) the pharisees and sadducees so Jesus confronted them several times for it. Mixed canaanites are not Hebrew even if it comes from Esau, as Esau lost his birthright for it.
