More than likely the church wanted to steal their property so they tortured them into confession then killed them then stole their property. Just like they did to the widows of the men who died in crusades whom they claimed were witches and tortured then into confession and then burned them and then stole their properties. I don't believe a fucking thing these faggots write. The news then was as fake as the news now.
