Anytime I bring up shit like this in real world discussions it gets interesting reactions. What does blurring/silencing part of a word do? I have never said “nword” in my life, and never will. Even when rarely speaking to blacks, and the discussion came up, I’d always use the actual word. It’s always been so strange to me. I asked one of my black neighbors one day if he’d be angry if I just started calling him an Nword, or reggin all the time? Of course he said yes, and I said of course, because of the intent. Censoring does absolutely nothing. In fact, I argue it generates more actual hate.
